Music is well documented as being therapeutic, particularly as a means of expression for individuals with communication difficulties.

It supports all areas of child development: intellectual, social and emotional, motor and language.

Music helps the body and the mind work together by stimulating the brain.  We use this to advantage in our sessions, hiding the therapeutic benefits of music in our fun and lively sessions!

We encourage singing to help children to develop clarity in their speech.  We ensure there is plenty of fun repetition that helps the learning process.  We use sound effects to develop listening skills, and ensure that a wide variety of musical instruments are available to develop fine motor skills.

Suzie Sings and Signs is about having fun, singing together and enjoying music.
